Rebuilding [Open]

[A few days after the Nox escaped the sewers and the Mayor sends out her missive, construction crews are on site at the college campus, beginning repairs on the sinkhole. While they're grateful to the outsiders using their magic to keep the Nox away, they're still a little leery of them. With everything that's happened, can you blame them?]

[Whether you're there to help with construction or security duty or just walking by to see what's going on or to bring your hardworking friend lunch, it's definitely an interesting place to be. Maybe someone has theories about how the Nox got out of the sewers...]

[ He locks up for a moment- she's around. He's known she's around. He hasn't been avoiding her so much as ignoring that she's here and he's here and that might mean some shit he doesn't wanna think about.

So I've been told. I haven't seen any evidence of it for myself yet.

[ The forcedness of that smile? It's noticeable. They didn't have long to become or be friends, but friends they were, and she's seen him happy and unhappy alike. She's watching him, then, wondering what's bothering him, but she doesn't say anything about it. Not yet. ]

When I was first told about it I thought the person telling me was nuts.

It took Wash awhile, apparently. His kinda isn't all that obvious though, I mean. There's a kid that sets shit on fire and a dude that does plant stuff.

[ Big things, obvious things. he finds himself feeling more than a little protective of Wash and his success or failure by way of magic for some...bizarre reason. Right. Competitive streaks. ]
