[ Megatron is a 35-foot-tall robot covered in spiked armour with glowing red eyes, first and foremost, but right now he is also technically a tourist and a kidnappee. It's a fairly new situation to him, given how hard it is to get someone like him to go anywhere they don't particularly want to go. This probably explains the slightly puzzled look on his face.

Those unfortunate enough to be close by will hear heavy, metallic footsteps wandering around the apartment district. He's trying to familiarise himself by exploring, but it's a little awkward when you take up most of the street. ]

I believe so. [ He glances around, taking his merry time about it, and then back down at Greg. ] But I think it would be best if it stayed that way.

Tell me: is it common for sentient beings to wake in this place with no memory of their arrival?

Ooookay then. [ He scratches at his neck. Guy this big, he can probably get his bearings pretty quickly. ]

Yeah, kinda happens all the time. Kind of a big kidnapping club, at this point.

[ headtilt ] I see.

As little faith as I have in lesser species, it would be safe to assume no one has found a way out?

[ He visibly deflates. Yeah... yeah, he should've known. ]

No dice. There's some big bubble locking us in until the nasties are gone. You notice the shadows from up there?

[ Megatron dutifully ignores his reaction. ] A few. I have been disregarding them so far.

I take it they are to be considered an enemy. [ duh. ] Is there anything that might prove a challenge?

[panspermia]

Ehh. I guess? They can team up on you, if you let them, and they're tough to take out without magic. Dunno if they've taken on anyone your size, though. You know if you've got magic?

[buckethelm]

Magic.

[ He thinks about it. He also lifts a hand and examines his claws a bit, and then gently taps them on the symbol on his chest. It fails to do anything unexpected. ]

Nothing I am aware of. Is there something I should know?

[panspermia]

Mmm, well... [It's hard to know where to start.] There's all kinds of magic, so you gotta figure out what you've got before I can tell you much.

But, uh. The Nox, those shadow guys... they might try and get you to trade, for some of their magic. I... don't recommend it.

[buckethelm]

Never make a bargain with dark entities. A lesson I have already learned, I assure you.

I will try to find time to experiment.

That's a relief. [Boy he does not want to see you bugged out on shadows.]

You'll have time, don't worry. Unless there's a monster attack, there isn't a heck of a lot to do around here.
