All in all you're just another brick in the wall [ Open ]
[ So this is new. He may or may not have had a mini hysterical breakdown in the room where he woke up but- he suits up and tries to get it together. The first time he stretches his mind out for D and finds him gone, even though he knew it wasn't gonna work, he twitches hard against a spike of panic and-
is-
Somewhere else?
This is also new. this is terrifying in it's newness. He goes from a stark, clinical room to the top of a building-
There's a fountain. It's very pretty. He's VERY FREAKED OUT. Another stumbling step and he's

anymore he's somewhere else. A library? WHAT THE FUCK? WHERE THE HELL IS HE? Someone's there.

isn't there anymore. He's in a bedroom.
Then a school.
Then an abandoned lot.
Then he's there, RIGHT THERE, all tan armor and crackling voice over the radio, scared and startled and unable to fucking understand what the HELL IS GOING ON and he catches a hold of someone. Anyone. Whoever's closest. Clings and shakes them and says- ]
You're gonna give me some sane answers right the fuck now-
[ But he's gone.
He's gone and he's taken whoever he's grabbed with him and this time? This time he's wiped. This time he STOPS.
Mostly because he's stuck with his arm half in and half out of a wall, forced to stand while his HUD and the healing
unit blare angry noises at him about pressure and potential crush injury if he moves the wrong way. Caught like a
fish he lets go of whoever and scrabbles, trying to dig his arm out. ]

Oh god oh god oh shit oh god someone get me OUT OF HERE!
[ ooc: York is porting himself all around Freesia due to not knowing how his magic works! YAY! If you want him to port into your character's room, bedroom, bathroom, place of employ, whichever just toss them up and assume he's popped up there. If you want your character to have been grabbed by him and stuck in the middle of nowhere with his arm stuck in a wall, go for it! ]

Like magic.
His brain skitters away from that because magic doesn't exist this is just some sort of hellish plane where everything makes exactly no sense. None. ]
I do laundry, dishes, and windows. I am very useful to have around. I don't cook though. It wouldn't end well.
no subject
I cook well enough when I need to. The other three aren't things I much bother with.
Alexis Tucker. You?
no subject
[ Less would be better and, woah. Okay. Not even a shell or false eye underneath? That's ballsy. He can appreciate that level of 'not even giving a fuck' involved in that. ]
Agent York. Nice to meet you. Sorry about the grabbing and porting somewhere. thing. Kinda new in town.
no subject
I'll admit, far as trouble goes, this is fairly serious. I've gotten into worse, but rules back where I'm from don't run the same as here, as far as I can tell. More and less magical at the same time.
[A final sharp movement of the hand, and the first section of wall collapses, almost all the way into York's fingers. Not quite, but if he tries hard enough, he could free himself.]
I assumed. Like I said, haven't seen that sorta magic before, but doesn't seem too far off to assume it's somethin' from here.
no subject
I mean, I've had my back to the wall a few times, but this is ridiculous.
[ And a little claustrophobic. But it's fine. It's fine, they're digging him free, he'll be fine. It's all. going to be fine. The wall gives and with the augmentation in the suit it's just enough for him to wrench his arm the rest of the way free, scrubbing the dust and grit from between the plating. ]
That is gonna be a pain to clean out later. Wow. Thanks for that, Alexis.

[The very, very slight curve of their mouth almost -- almost suggests a joke -- but it's debatable. It's all fine, if you don't pay attention to the shallow breaths Alexis takes and the way the sweat puddles at the elbows of their shirt. Everything's great.]
Need me to dump more water on it? It's a lovely power. I can drown everyone I don't like, if I don't mind passing out afterwards.
no subject
[ Ah, Casbah, the shit he learned there. Now that he's freed he actually- reaches out to rest a steadying hand on Alexis' shoulder. ]
You don't look too good there, buddy. Why don't we find somewhere for you to sit and grab you something to drink?
no subject
[They shrug his hand off quick as can be, face returning to neutral, emotionless.]
'm fine, just -- the magic. Tiring. It's nothing, really.
[It's not nothing. Alexis is already rather skinny, but they look about to faint.]
no subject
And food. Looks like you could use some. If it exhausts you it probably also makes you hungry.
no subject
[Alexis makes a sweeping gesture with one hand and promptly passes out, crumpling to the ground and almost falling into York on the way down. Whoopsie-daisy.]
no subject
[ Aw shit- he catches Alexis out of habit- not gonna let his saviour take a face dive after they got him out of the wall now, is he? Okay. Water. Food. At least with the armor carrying them isn't all that hard. He scoops them up in a bridal carry and- sticks indoors for the moment.
Not gonna ignore what might be a valid concern. That'd be a dick move. ]
no subject
If York wants to take a look at what's under the eyepatch, this would be the time.]
no subject
In and it's dark and quiet and calm and he swears there were vending machines somewhere in the building. He finds a nice comfy looking sofa to set Alexis down on before ducking away long enough to grab a bottle of water and a bag of chips. No he didn't pay for them, jacking the machine was too easy. ]
no subject
They stay quiet, scanning the area until he comes back with food and water.]
...thanks. Y'didn't need to. I would've been fine.
no subject
[ He'll ignore the puddle in favor of settling down next to Alexis, offering over the bottle of water first. ]
So...why is sunlight bad?
no subject
I'm not exactly excited to find out if sunlight will kill me or not. I haven't seen it in years, it'd burn something awful.
[They take a long drink, trying not to look too grateful, but -- yeah, Alexis needed that.]
no subject
[ The chips get opened next and here's where York cracks off his helmet to breathe, ruffling his hair so it's not all flat and helmet hairish. Like it do. ]
Food?
no subject
Dunno how this place works with regards to...waking up after you die, I guess. Maybe if I knew, I'd get awful sunburns.
--Yes.
[Oh dear lord why would you give Alexis food. They rip into the chips like a predator on a fat thing too weak to move. Jesus christ, the horror.]
no subject
...woah, damn, buddy. When was the last time you ate?
no subject
no subject
no subject
Hey -- what year're you from? Like I said. Haven't seen anyone who's from around my time of...history, I s'pose.
no subject
[ Also hard to think of when this person is just chowing down like a starving thing. Wow. that is. That is some thorough consumption.
God damn.
It's like wash and a banana. ]
no subject
[All the food is gone, and Alexis makes a sad puppy face for half a second before they catch themselves. Unacceptable. They don't do sad puppy faces.]
